Our Story

The origins of Neon Tiger are many summer afternoons spent sipping on delicious homemade sodas crafted by Else Berman, the mother of our co-founder Jessica, from tropical Asian fruits, botanical syrups and soda water. Simple and healthy, we wondered why ready-to-drink sodas never taste as great. It turns out that two types of sodas dominate the market; Traditional high sugar sodas made from artificial ingredients, and the nouveau “zero sugar” sodas which taste artificial and cloying because they use synthetic sweeteners and flavour essences (think of this as flavouring the drink with an essential oil). The opportunity to create a soda using only the ingredients you can find in your kitchen was roaring in our minds. After years of tinkering with recipes, painstakingly sampling different fruit sources, and stalking food scientists for free advice, Neon Tiger was born. Made from the juice of premium Asian fruits, water, fizz and a bit of cane sugar, we are proud to offer a delicious soda for your family that is sophisticated and healthy. Our Sweet Spot is Real Sugar, In Moderation

We embrace the natural sweetness of fruit and a bit of cane sugar. It tastes, and feels, better.

We Don’t Do Sugar Highs – Traditional sodas are too sugary and artificial.

We Are No Zero – Zero sugar sodas have a weird aftertaste and mouthfeel from sweeteners and flavor extracts which have questionable health benefits.

HAND-PICKED INGREDIENTS

We use premium Xoai Cat variety mangoes that are grown in the fertile Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. 

Our passion fruit and calamansi (cousin of the kumquat) are grown locally on Vietnamese farms. 

Our guava are all grown locally on farms in Vietnam
